"Made to Love"- John Legend
The first video I chose to analyse is a conceptual music video. This means it has an artistic vision/ expression that makes a statement. Although I do not wish to create a concept music video, there were multiple elements I enjoyed. I enjoyed the contrast between performer and the concepts. The performer and other characters appeared in a black and white colour scheme, whereas the concepts were full of colour. This stark contrast helped to create the visual for the music video and make it so effective. Therefore, I would like to emulate a similar contrast within my video of the performance and narrative elements.

"My Hero"- Foo Fighters
This next video is a performance based video. I chose to use this video as a lot of the performance features similar visuals as I want to construct within my own video. The performers are portrayed as having fun and being passionate whilst performing their original song. This links in to how I want my video to be fun an upbeat, and having the artist enjoying themselves whilst performing will only add to this effect.
